Easy Street by Rita Gray and illustrated by Mary Bono is a clay-mation like story giving step by step instructions on laying asphalt, perfect for toddlers and preschool aged children.
What I disliked:
Nothing. It was pretty good.
What I liked:
I liked the sing-song rhyming, real life explanation of the asphalt process, and my son loved the repetition. The back page of the book has a grown up version of the process, perfect for answering the unending questions this book provoked from both my children.
Where to find it:
We were blessed by Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. However, you can find your copy for less than $5 on Amazon, a fair price.
