Purplicious by Victoria Kann & Elizabeth Kann is a another colorful book in the Pinkalicious series intended for the preschool and early elementary audiences.
What I disliked:
Usually the books are cheerful and bright in the Pinkalicious series, but this one is a bit more somber with mean girls officially entering the scene. Also, despite the title indicating it was going to highlight my personal favorite color, it didn’t actually talk about purple until about the last page.
What I liked:
This book talks about sticking up for what you like, mean girls and “having the blues”. After a short stumble, Pinkalicious recommits to her favorite color when a classmate clues her in on the power of pink by adding it to her blue canvas…
Where to find it:
We purchased ours second hand from an early elementary school teacher. However, you can find a hardcover copy for yourself for less than $13 on Amazon Prime here.
