Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson

Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson is a CLASSIC must read for all kids.

What I disliked:

It is perfect just as it is.

What I liked:

This book kind of reminds me of the blog Little Fears, how they take something simple and create magic out of it.  It takes a genius mind to un-complicate things and create something pure and inspiring.  I would encourage everybody to read this book at least once.  You won’t regret it.

Where to find it:

Mine traveled with me from my childhood.  However, you can find yours for less than $6 on Amazon prime, or most likely your local library.

    1. This is so great! Thank you so much! My mind is already reeling – which quotes could I post that others would “get”? Or are the quotes just meaningful to me in my head… I’ll mull it over tonight, and try to get started in the morning. Thanks again! This is awesome!
