Sally and the Purple Socks by Lisze Bechtold

Sally and the Purple Socks by Lisze Bechrold is a creative story about an expanding pair of socks and all the imaginative uses Duck finds for them.

What I disliked:

It was a great kids book.  No criticisms.

What I liked:

I loved the creativity in this book.  I imagine this is how a young mind words, unsure of the laws of reality quite yet, allowing a sock to become so gigantic and used for many purposes other than keeping one’s feet warm.

Where to find it:

This is another gift from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.  You can find a copy yourself on Amazon for under $15.  I was expecting it to be under ten, but it is pretty cute.
