The Leaves are Falling One by One by Steve Metzger

The Leaves are Falling One by One by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Miriam Sagasti is a fun little book to the tune of “The Ants go Marching One by One.”  It’s near impossible to read the book without the tune, and the lyrics are pretty well composed.

What I disliked:

It’s a fun nursery type rhyme for the kiddos.  Not much to criticize.

What I liked:

I liked the sing song rhythm and rhyme.  The pictures correlated well.

Where to find it:

We purchased ours second hand in a lot from an elementary school teacher.  You can find yours for less than $12 from an Amazon seller, far exceeding the 2-3 bucks I’d be willing to pay for the paperback version.
